God Aside, Let Us Reason Together, Y'tzhahk

-John Moraga

Has the world gone insane, or world insanity the has gone? It is understandable for one to believe that society has submitted itself to intentional psychography, hypnotism, and demonic possession.

Contemporary zombie movies can easily be perceived as social commentary. Glamour Magazine declared Bruce Jenner “Woman of the Year” in 2015, Planned Parenthood has been caught multiple times on camera selling baby body parts for profit, our electoral college has just elected two asterisks presidents three times (2-O, 1-T), and the flat-earth internet hoax has become an actual organized movement. Just as the prophet Isaiah invited ancient Israel in centuries past, I invite you to “Come now, let us reason together.” Isaiah 1:18.

This is not intended to be a commentary on scripture, but simply a recognition of the stench from our societal feces, as well as a plea to the reader to partake in a collective flushing.

Conservatives have long been the caretakers of political sanity. Conservatism has learned from history, as it has applied tested principles and sacred truths, in order to stand as a beacon of light in an ocean of political chaos. Now, more than most other times in our past, conservatism is needed. God aside, we need to recognize that objective truth is being consumed by moral relativism at an astounding rate! Many factors have contributed to this disintegration, but we needn't focus on them now, as much as concentrate our efforts on how to reverse course or at least slam on the breaks. When we live in a world where people are trying to convince us that up is down and down is up, conservatives need to network and coordinate our efforts, in order to declare that up is up and down is down. There are still sane people in our society who have not succumb to groupthink. Many, most of them may not be conservatives, but even they are in disbelief about what they are witnessing in our society. That is why we, as conservatives, need to be prepared with answers for those who are resisting the groupthink, and may be willing to consider political conservatism. If conservatives shake our heads at the insanity we see in our society, how much more so do those who do not self-identify as conservative? We are all being forced to reevaluate the world around us in a very strange way it seems.

So, I urge you to reassure yourself as well as your neighbor (friends and family) that there are still reasonable people in our society, who more often than not believe in conservative principles. Of course, I also encourage you to consider the actual scriptures, but my primary intent is to motivate conservatives to be leaders in promoting sane and reasonable dialogue. When I say "God aside..." I don't mean we should not factor in God, but we must first recognize that a man is in fact a man before we can contemplate who created him. In other words, if we can't, or defiantly won't agree upon non-theological objective truths i.e. biological gender, there is no potential to even consider absolute Truth.

Come now, let us reason together.
